Cookie Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what cookies surca.co uses, what each one is for, how long they last, and how you can turn them off or change your choice anytime. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser when you visit it. It's used to remember information between visits or during your session — for example, your language choice, or whether you already dismissed a notice. Cookies aren't programs and can't run code on your device.
2. Cookies we use
We only use two real categories — nothing more:

"Necessary" cookies don't ask for consent because the site can't function properly without them (remembering your language, remembering your cookie choice). The analytics cookie is off by default and only activates with your explicit permission.
3. Third-party cookies
We don't use Meta Pixel, Google Ads, or any other advertising tracker. The only third-party cookie is Google Analytics 4, described above. Our own tracking script (app.surca.co), used to measure the performance of our own lead-capture systems, is an internal SURCA service, not a third-party marketing cookie — it stays active at all times because it's part of how the business runs, the same as our contact form system.
4. How we manage your consent
The first time you visit surca.co, we show you a notice where you can accept all cookies, reject optional ones, or configure your choice category by category. Until you choose, the analytics cookie stays blocked — we use Google Consent Mode so Google Analytics respects your decision.
You can change your choice anytime by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page.
5. Turning them off in your browser
Besides our preferences panel, you can block or delete cookies directly from your browser settings. Keep in mind that blocking necessary cookies may break some features (like remembering your language).
