1. Who we are

SURCA is the trade name under which Albert Acuña provides web design and digital lead-capture services from Barranquilla, Colombia. Under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, SURCA acts as the data controller for the personal data it receives through this site, the contact form, and its service channels (email and WhatsApp).

2. What data we collect

• Data you give us directly: name, business name, email address, and WhatsApp number, when you fill out this site's form or write to us.
• Browsing data: pages visited, time spent, and visit source, collected in aggregate by Google Analytics 4.

We do not request or store sensitive data (health, ideology, biometric data, etc.) or data belonging to minors.

3. What we use it for

• Responding to your request and scheduling the diagnosis call.
• Preparing and sending you proposals or quotes.
• Delivering the contracted service and supporting you during and after the project.
• Sending you commercial content by email, only if you checked that box on the relevant form.
• Measuring how the site is used, to improve it.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. We share it only with:

• Brevo, the platform we use for the contact form and email delivery, which acts as a data processor.
• Google Analytics, for site usage statistics.
• Authorities, only when required by law.

5. Your rights (Habeas Data)

As the owner of your data, Colombian law gives you the right to:

• Know, update, and correct your data.
• Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
• Be informed about how we've used it.
• Revoke your authorization or request deletion of the data, when no legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
• Access your data free of charge.
• File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of the law.

6. How to exercise them

Write to us at hola@surca.co or on WhatsApp, telling us which right you'd like to exercise and which data it concerns. We respond to inquiries within 10 business days and to claims within 15 business days, as required by law.

7. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it's used. The script only loads after your first interaction, so it doesn't affect load speed. You can block these cookies from your browser settings without affecting your browsing experience.

8. Validity and changes

This policy is effective as of the last-updated date shown above. If we make substantial changes, we'll indicate them on this same page.
